roadside memorials

This project was conceived as a tribute to the many memorials that have been placed at the side of the road by the families and friends of the victims of fatal road traffic accidents.

The images evoke some of the feelings of loss that are experienced those that are left behind.

It is an unfortunate fact that more of these memorials are being created every week. For the most part the victims are young, in-experienced drivers. Their deaths at such an early age is tragic and unavoidable.
